Additional Information about Dr. Mirza

Dr. Mirza treats patients with variety of cancers. He also has a diploma from School of Breast Oncology, Emory University, Georgia. Prior to moving back to Chicago in 2006, Dr. Mirza was an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at University of Missouri, Columbia, with a special interest in Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer and Lymphomas.

He has authored and published multiple articles in respected national journals and was a guest editor for a national peer review journal. He has been an invited guest speaker at multiple national and international conferences. He has trained multiple post graduate  hematology/oncology fellows, internal medicine residents, medical students and physician assistants.

Dr. Mirza is married and a father of two children. He is an avid tennis player and likes to read in his free time.
