Dr. Eklund is a member of Alpha Omega National Medical Honor Society and has received the Woman’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital Compassionate Care Award. In 2011, Dr. Eklund achieved the highest score in the nation on the medical board examination.
Dr. Eklund believes that compassion is the central component of quality patient management. He enjoys time away from work with his wife Jennifer.
