Dr. Elms is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal cancers and addressing health disparities in cancer care. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that incorporates the latest advancements in cancer treatment. Originally from Oklahoma, he moved to Chicago for his medical residency and fellowship training at Loyola University Medical Center.

Beyond his work, Dr. Elms finds great joy in exploring the rich cultural experiences that Chicago has to offer. He delights in its diverse performing arts scene, unparalleled culinary adventures, and vibrant sports market. When he’s not immersing himself in the city’s offerings, he indulges his passion for travel by exploring different cultures abroad, appreciating the unique and colorful tapestry of humanity.

Dr. Elms takes pride in being an uncle to Tucker and Ellie Jo, who reside in Florida with his immediate family.
